Donate Clutter to Charity - It’s That Time Again

Donate to charity while clearing your clutter.This is a good time of year to donate to charities such as Goodwill Industries and local homeless shelters. Some of your fall and winter items will move now and be more in demand. During the summer the charities may not have as much room to store these items just to hold until winter. So that’s why it works better to give them your winter items during fall/winter and summer items during spring/summer.

Read the ABC’s of organizing…

A few minutes a day on a regular basis is all you need to organize your home.

Bring new stuff into your home only if you need it, will use it, will display it or will wear it regularly. Otherwise you’re simply inviting clutter into your home.

Clutter can be useful or useless. Organize useful clutter. Discard useless clutter.

Don’t let others less organized living in your home impede your goal to get organized. Work on what’s within your control to organize.
